My Journey into Technology and Teaching

Hello and welcome to my blog!

My name is Rincy Reji, and I’m a passionate educator, tech enthusiast, and lifelong learner. I currently work as a Computer Teacher (TGT), and I also serve as an ECA Coordinator and SAFAL Nodal Officer. My journey into teaching and technology has been filled with continuous growth, creativity, and discovery.

My Teaching Life

I’ve had the joy of teaching computer science to students from Grade 1 to Grade 9, helping them explore the digital world through hands-on learning and exciting classroom projects. One of the most fulfilling parts of my job is seeing students light up when they understand how technology works — from creating their first PowerPoint presentation to writing basic code.

In addition to teaching, I actively lead school choir and prayer activities, and I coordinate extra-curricular activities like yoga, karate, skating, guitar, keyboard, and band — nurturing students not just academically, but holistically.

My Passion for IT and Cybersecurity

Over time, I’ve developed a keen interest in Linux, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. I’m currently exploring how to transition from a non-IT teaching role into a more technical IT role, such as Linux Administrator and Cloud Engineering.

As part of my skill development, I’ve been working on:

  • Configuring Linux servers (Apache, Nginx, MariaDB, PHP)
  • Hosting WordPress sites
  • Managing FTP/SFTP access and SSH configuration
  • Securing websites with SSL
  • Setting up phpMyAdmin and managing databases

It’s been challenging but exciting to dive deep into server administration and website deployment!

What’s Next?

I’m learning SEO, digital marketing, and blogging — to help myself and others build an online presence, especially for small businesses or creative ventures like my own hand embroidery gift shop. Through this blog, I hope to:
